Lottery Applications
ALL students must apply to attend PDCMS. There is no school boundary.

The application window will close on March 20 at 6:00 p.m.
After the lottery is run, the system will reopen to allow families to continue submitting applications for the waitlist.
Please ensure the email address used during the application process is accurate and checked regularly, as it will be the primary form of communication.
Important Note Regarding District Employee Preference:
For families selecting “Yes” to the District Employee preference, please note that only union dues-paying employees are considered District Employees for the purpose of this lottery preference. At this time, DSUSD substitute employees do not qualify for this designation.
Helpful Reminders Before Applying

Create a ScribOrder account before submitting an application.

A separate application is required for each child being entered into the lottery.

If a student has a sibling currently attending PDCMS, contact the student’s current school to ensure siblings are properly linked through Synergy (ParentVue).

If the student currently attends a DSUSD school, confirm the district has your current address on file.

DSUSD students only should have their Student ID number ready, available in ParentVUE.
Backup Planning Recommendation
Families are strongly encouraged to submit a transfer (ends 2/28) application for other middle schools as a backup, especially if:

The student is not currently enrolled within DSUSD, or
-
The student does not live within the boundaries of their second-choice school.
